SUMMARY:Summer Camp:  Advanced Acting Intensive: James and the Giant Peach (Age 7-18)
DESCRIPTION:Camp Dates: July 5-22\, 2016 | Monday-Friday\, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm\nDress Rehearsals: July 27 and 28\, 5:00-10:00pm\nPerformances (Actors will be called 1.5 hours before showtime): July 29 at 7:30pm\, July 30 at 2:00 & 7:30pm\, and July 31 at 2:00 & 7:30pm\nAll students in this class will be cast in a principal role in James and the Giant Peach\nDescription: Get ready for Encore! Tulsa’s biggest and most exciting summer camp experience ever! In this intense\, challenging experience\, advanced actors will spend three weeks studying character development\, scene study\, character voices/dialects\, acting technique\, and other production-related skills\, all culminating in a professionally staged/costumed production of James and the Giant Peach at Tulsa Little Theatre. In addition\, students will have the opportunity to study other aspects of production\, including lighting\, sound\, directing\, stage management\, costumes\, makeup\, props\, and more. Most importantly\, students receive a valuable combination of acting training and hands-on experience while forming lasting friendships and experiencing the camaraderie and teamwork of a full-scale theatre production.\n*Enrollment Instructions: Admission is by application only\, and selected students will be notified by the end of May 2016.
