SUMMARY:Two-Day Acting Intensive: March Showcase
DESCRIPTION:Enroll HERE\nAge 8-12 and 13-18 / Level: Beginner\, Intermediate\, and Advanced (Students will be assigned material based on their age and experience level)\nClass Date/Time: 12:00-5:00pm on Saturday\, March 4 and Sunday\, March 5. Student performance Sunday\, March 5th at 7:30pm\nLocation: Tulsa Little Theatre – 1511 S. Delaware Ave. Tulsa\, OK\nDescription: This “boot camp” theatre experience challenges actors to prepare\, rehearse\, and perform a show all in one weekend. On Saturday\, students will select a monologue and/or scene to study and rehearse. They will work one-on-one with instructors to gain valuable feedback as they lay the groundwork for their performance. Before the day is over\, each student will have a professional headshot session. Students will return on Sunday with their lines memorized\, ready for a day of final performance notes/adjustments\, with the opportunity to learn the role of director as they provide feedback and critiques to their classmates. Students will receive their new headshots to use for future auditions and/or representation\, to also be used in the playbill for their Sunday evening showcase. The day ends with learning the ins and out of lights/sound as the student conduct tech rehearsal and put the final polish on their monologues and scenes. The weekend ends with their showcase performance Sunday evening at 7:30pm for the general public.\nTuition: $129  (includes headshot photography\, $50 value)\n$40 discount for students currently enrolled in our Winter 2017 session.
