Theatre Performance & Scene Study (Age 8-18: Instructor approval required)
Thursdays 5:00-6:30 PM | Class Dates: February 4, 11, 18, 25, and March 10
Description: This intermediate/advanced class is taught in the style of a typical theatre production rehearsal. Students will learn the proper way to prepare for a rehearsal, annotate a script, develop a character, collaborate with a director and scene partner, take blocking notes, and accept/follow stage directions in addition to theatre performance skills. This class is perfect for actors who want to seriously prepare for their first lead role and advanced actors who want to further hone their craft to prepare for professional opportunities.
