History

1932
Tulsa Little Theatre (TLT) was built.

1939
TLT becomes the first community theatre in America to produce Our Town.

1947
TLT becomes the first community theatre in America to produce All My Sons.

1948-1949
The foyer and backstage areas of the theatre are remodeled.

1965
After the third performance of The Women, fire breaks out destroying stage furniture, props, etc.

1966
Again, fire breaks out during South Pacific.

1974
TLT changes its name to Theatre Tulsa, Inc. but remains at the TLT building until 1989.

1985
Tulsa LittleTheatre becomes the first community theater to produce the musical Brownstone.

2004
The Law Office of Bryce A. Hill bought the Tulsa Little Theatre, and renovated it, while keeping everything as original as possible to the point of when it was built in 1932 and is now using the Front building as their Law Office’s.

2005
The Theatre has also been restored and now has full accessibilty for the handicap complete with elevated lift mechanism. The Theatre will be used in September for the 1st time since the restoration, as the PITTS Ghost Conference will be the 1st to put it back into action.
